Loved the overview. Hated the shade toward Redis. Redis has arguably the best key-value query syntax, and there’s a reason so many people swear by it. True, the decision-makers at Redis Ltd are absolute pieces of trash, but Redis itself is a delightful piece of engineering artifact. I don’t care about the billion-dollar drama behind a piece of tech, but Redis defined the key-value query API for many similar databases. Trashing it just because it isn’t SQL-like feels unjustified.
