Ergo S-1 – An open-source ergonomic wireless keyboard
- arcanemachiner 2y agoProject description: The Ergo S-1 is a fully wireless, split ergonomic keyboard that is compatible with cherry/gateron switches and cherry/oem/dcs keycaps. It runs on the fantastic ZMK firmware. --- I made one of these a few months ago, and I'm a big fan. It's like an open-source Kinesis Advantage 360. --- Project homepage: https://wizardkeyboards.com/ergo-s-1/ https://wizardkeyboards.com/ergo-s-1/ Hackaday article: https://hackaday.com/2022/08/10/from-product-to-burnout-to-open-source-the-ergo-s-1-keyboard-story/ https://hackaday.com/2022/08/10/from-product-to-burnout-to-o...
- jszymborski 2y agoI wonder if similar split "kinesis" style keyboards exist with an extreme tent. I'm happiest when I'm typing with my hands almost in "handshake" position. Currently using an ErgoDoz EZ with books propping it up.
- arcanemachiner 2y agoI ended 3d-printing a tablet stand from Thingiverse to get mine to tent: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4861555 https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4861555 It doesn't tilt as high as you might like, but there's probably some Thing out there that does.
- novafacing 2y agoYou may be interested in the ZSA moonlander with their "the platform" tent kit. It can go near vertical, got mine a few weeks ago and it is really nice.
- Terretta 2y agoHas anyone seen anyone build one of these* together with a scavenged TouchID or build one out of an Apple keyboard parts including TouchID? (Although, if you have Apple Watch you [optionally] don't have to have TouchID in the keyboard.) * This one is particularly nice!
