Sam Hyde – Dear Elon [video]
- slater 2y agoNever heard of this guy, and it appears his whole shtick is somewhere between "lol i troll u!!" 4chan-level "comedy" and alt-right grifting...?
- talldayo 2y agoSam Hyde built his career off nonconstructive piss takes on politics and foreign affairs. His online following is a mish-mash of socially awkward neo-fash types and people that laugh at other people dying. His politics flirt with danger, misinformation and unrepentant grandeur on a large enough scale that people pay attention but underground enough to avoid academic criticism. In other words, he's exactly the sort of person Elon is likely to take seriously.
- thatcat 2y agoIt's a bit more elaborate, he's a comedy writer from adult swim that got cancelled and incorporated the cancelled guy trolling bit into his comedy persona.
