Why so much hate for Firefox in these comments?
What's a better browser that isn't basically advertising spyware (i.e. chrome, edge) ?
- pluto_modadic 2y agoI think someone put it best: make your competitor depend on your evil thing (in this case, google donates to firefox/mozilla and makes deals about default search). In addition, people intentionally go to firefox because it /isn't/ chrome, but that only works SO LONG AS they don't copy everything google does (e.g. opt-out ads in the browser, AI, etc)
