I can see how Amazon’s data driven culture is completely incompatible with creative endeavours. Given their recent focus on short-termism I’m not convinced it’s that great for strategic thinking either.
- leoc 2y agoThey did play probably one of the most successful long games in the recent history of business. It does seem that now they’ve decided that it’s time to take profits, though.
- badgersnake 2y agoThere’s no denying they were great. I just get the feeling they’re not great anymore. Too much short term nudging the metric.
