that said, I'm not a fan of smoking and there's obviously issues with second hand smoke. but it doesn't have the same exponential damage effect of an infectious disease.

- fithisux 2y agoSmokers deplete the health system from resources. So, it is the same.
- cultofmetatron 2y agoyou're not wrong but its a rounding error compared to the resources sucked up to pay the salaries of the ceos and board members of these giant health insurance companies. If we're going for efficiency of health system resources use, better to start with them.
