This week in zombie journalism: comparing at-home Netflix to outdoor cinema This is apples and oranges. At a certain point, experience scaling makes it an entirely different experience. On a personal level, though I stream cinema at home, I still attend a few showings a year at our local Alamo Drafthouse. It's not "outdoor" cinema, but we go as a posse, go early for the pre-show bar scene, the famous Alamo pre-show background reels, and the quality AV experience. It's just a different media animal.
