Not sure what you understand with "common". According to that wiki page, EMAS is installed on 112 runways in the US and there are over 1000 commercial runways in the US (as of 2007: https://www.icao.int/Meetings/AMC/MA/2007/9CCARDCA/9ccardcaip07.pdf https://www.icao.int/Meetings/AMC/MA/2007/9CCARDCA/9ccardcai...). There are only 15 non-US installations and none of them are in South Korea.
