Why would they do that instead of standard PC hardware?
- neverartful 2y agoIBM has many decades of innovations (and patents) on making their mainframe hardware super resilient.
- ivell 2y agoMy previous company had a large estate of linux and mainframe applications. While ensuring that the disaster recovery is implemented in linux applications was a nightmare with different standards and different ways of doing things, in mainframe it was inbuilt.
