- BoingBoomTschak 2y agoThe bullet point list was perfectly fine then it goes full retard with the following paragraph, which implies that people who are enthusiastic about programming ("write a technical blog" or "contribute to open source") only are because it's their job. Bunch of "barbeques and ball games" people only in for the money. Reminds me of this quote: "Computing has always been personal. By this I mean that if you weren't intensely involved in it, sometimes with every fiber in your body, you weren't doing computers, you were just a user."
