learning how to edit in ISPF was the hardest part for me.
- jareds 2y agoThere are now multiple options for GUI editors. When I was using the Mainframe in 2016 through 2020 I was using multiple eclipse based IDE's that provided the ability to edit datasets on the Mainframe, submit and view jobs, etc. They couldn't do everything you could do in the ISPF interface but they made the Mainframe much easier to use.
- Aloha 2y agoI was actually rather fond of the editor in ISPF by the time I was done with the Mastering the Mainframe course.
