US Dept Health proposes new cybersecurity rules to limit healthcare data leaks

I always would have thought that two of the most important favors to decrease risk of data leaks would have already been implemented - and yet it's 2024, just over half a century after DES encryption was put into use by the US government. Healthcare is a huge beast to turn, but I'd hope to see actual consequences for companies that don't take action.
