Why is AI so bad at elementary mathematics?
- Terr_ 2y agoReplace the increasingly uselessly vague "AI" with "LLMs" and the answer becomes clearer. The algorithms take a document and generate statistically-plausible bonus text. They just aren't made to do symbolic reasoning or math.
