Governments passively support a Windows desktop monopoly, why would they care about a cellphone duopoly?
- jchw 2y agoMy question: how about we just don't do this? Can we all agree the "governments depending on ActiveX controls for important things" thing was a terrible idea and just not? Smart cards would work fine, and there's even standards for it! The answer: nope, it's almost certainly time for round 2. Plus some forced facial recognition for good measure. Like I said, I hope the number on those days starts pretty high.
