Because the IDF would not crank the propaganda machine to the max following such an act.
Also, as a reminder, Hezbollah was founded in 1982 by Lebanese clerics in response to the Israeli invasion of Lebanon.
The middle east would be a much better place without Hezbollah & Israel, for sure.
