What I understand from the presentation Many Volkswagen cars somehow report telemetry. Looks like there is data not only from the EVs based on the MEB plattform? But for a Name/email to be associated with the VIN of the car, the owner has to register and use the app (once). Many EV owners did, but fewer of the non EVs did.
