Sounds like you’ve got people moving backwards and forwards frequently between the U.S. and Canada. Both countries are going to want to track those boarder crossings, doing it in an app just makes it easier for everyone. Don’t really see what a bunch of people wondering around parks all located in the same country has to do with boaters moving between a smorgasbord of islands belonging to two different countries, and thus randomly crossing the boarder back and forth multiple times in a single trip.
