If there's an opportunity to open-source this code so people who can't simply migrate to one option after considering many, self-hosting might be an option at least in the interim.
- BehindBlueEyes 2y agoTheir software is designed to enable hundreds of bookkeepers to do the accounting with some interesting automations, self hosting makes little sense. As an individual, if you want to do things yourself, you're better off using gnucash.

Accounting software is not novel, multi-tenancy and multi-entity is not a novel feature. There are plenty of accounting platforms that do a lot of this, if not most, and are self hosted or you can run in your own cloud. Odoo is an easy one that comes to mind, plenty of others. GNUCash isn't really a business accounting platform.
