This appears to be in relation to J2-8243 losing all 3 hydraulic systems after the Russians fired a missile at it near Grozny and pilots appears to have used differential thrust for control since E190 lacks manual reversion. Ignore the Russian propaganda about "bird strikes" and "GPS spoofing", because their refusal to allow them to land at any of 4 airports in the area and sending them to Kazakhstan was intended to manipulate them into crashing into the Capsian to hide the evidence of their crimes. But fortunately, part of the aircraft and some of the passengers survived in spite of their attempts to murder them and then cover it up.
- imoverclocked 2y agoI’m not saying you are wrong but it sure wouldn’t hurt to have some references for the claims you are making about the incident.
- V__ 2y agoRegarding the Phugoid pattern and the GPS spoofing: > Flight-tracking data from FlightRadar24.com showed the aircraft making what appeared to be a figure eight once nearing the airport in Aktau, its altitude moving up and down substantially over the last minutes of the flight before impacting the ground. > FlightRadar24 separately said in an online post that the aircraft had faced “strong GPS jamming,” [1] https://apnews.com/article/azerbaijan-airliner-crash-kazakhstan-aktau-a655474030a347a5a7ddda3a77bbeddc https://apnews.com/article/azerbaijan-airliner-crash-kazakhs... The claim that a landing inside Russia was denied is as of now a rumor. But since the black boxes have been found: > On Dec 27th 2024 Brazil's Investigators have arrived on site, the black box(es) are to be read out and decoded by CENIPA. The voice recording will resolve this. The fact that it was shot is almost a certainty: > On Dec 27th 2024 the airline reported that preliminary data suggest the aircraft was subjected to external physical and technical impacts. - talldayo 2y agoWhen you make ad-hominem attacks from a position of moral authority, you actually give Russia fewer reasons to care. There is a reason that nobody talks about politics in the way that you are right now, and that is because it is racist and counterproductive. Most rational people capable of feeling empathy do not dehumanize other humans. Repeating slurs only gives Putin what he wants - an international voice that demonizes the Russian people instead of their leadership. Go read up on the fall of the Soviet Union and I guarantee you won't have the stomach to say such an irresponsible thing ever again.
- NotYourLawyer 2y agoRussian isn’t a race.
- Vecr 2y agoNeither is African. I don't think you would get away with a similar statement regarding Africans even though it's fully true that African isn't a race.
- NotYourLawyer 2y agoOh please. That’s completely different for obvious reasons, and you know it. This comment was not made in good faith.
- talldayo 2y agoYou have not made a single comment in this thread that constitutes good faith. You reserve zero right to complain when people respond to your sociopathic behavior with rational empathy. Would you like to apologize, or wallow in your wrongness?
- trhway 2y ago>This appears to be in relation to J2-8243 losing all 3 hydraulic systems Video of phugoid like (it isn't clear whether it was phugoid and/or a result of pilots actions using damaged controls) movement before the crash https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=C4YmtAKeGSg https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=C4YmtAKeGSg As a sidenote i wonder what missile was used. The shrapnel field - close to the tail, right side, around 45 degree to the horizontal plane - suggests that the missile was chasing (not say a front attack like BUK in MH-17 case), and explosion happened somewhere behind the right engine at almost the tail distance - which possibly wouldn't damage say a significantly shorter plane like a fighter (or a drone). Googling a bit brings various sources saying that it was Pantsir-S. Its missiles have proximity fuse and have no seeker, ie. they are guided from the launcher.
