ELux: Light-weight, Linux-based, highly secure operating system
- josephcsible 2y agoIs this a GPL-violating project? Where's the kernel source?
- anenefan 2y agoIt's via Scout Enterprise which according to Fujitsu's link, has been ongoing since 2000 [1] additional at [2] [1] https://www.fujitsu.com/global/products/software/os/ https://www.fujitsu.com/global/products/software/os/ [2] https://sp.ts.fujitsu.com/dmsp/Publications/public/ds-Scout-Enterprise-eLux.pdf https://sp.ts.fujitsu.com/dmsp/Publications/public/ds-Scout-... - devops99 2y agoLook at this page and imagine being an employee using this stuff. https://udocs.unicon.com/en/content/admin_guides/scout/app_definition/app_definition.htm
- cedws 2y agoLooks like rubbish, the page says nothing about how it is secure. I’m gonna guess it doesn’t even do half of what Qubes does.
- devops99 2y agoIt's basically a thin-client OS, it doesn't do even 0.1% of what Qubes does. If you dig into the documentation you will see an MSSQL template as its admin backend (yes, it's that bad) and each "application" backend is RDP, Citrix, or some functional analogue to such. Total trash. Employee morale at absolute zero.
