The kitty method of piping the scroll back buffer to a pager is more general - it also seems like a quick fix to achieve this desired feature.
- sionisrecur 2y agoI noticed a keybinding for write_scrollback_file (defaults to super+shift+j) which does this. So you can use `grep something <super+shift+j>` to search for things. It's a nice workaround until search is implemented.
- WD-42 2y agoI really like how Kitty handles search. I thought it was a hack at first - then came to realize why re-implement search if less works better?
