How can I resurrect a router that doesn't boot? I flashed a nightly version of OpenWRT on my TP Link Archer, and I believe it fails on the bootloader stage.
I don't have any JTAG/serial comms but I could get some if that's the best way. Thanks
- saidinesh5 2y agoUsually the bootloader can load a rom using tftp: https://openwrt.org/docs/guide-user/installation/generic.flashing.tftp https://openwrt.org/docs/guide-user/installation/generic.fla... You don't need anything except a lan cable. You need to set a static IP to the tftp server machine and name the flashing file properly and it should just work.
