Spotted: Apple website running on .Net
- aespinoza 14y agoIt is probably a vendor. The page is inside and iframe and it points to: https://mrt.moduslink.com/app/AppleStatusSite/AppleStatusSearch.aspx?Lang=en-US https://mrt.moduslink.com/app/AppleStatusSite/AppleStatusSea...
- mikegirouard 14y agoI think you're right. That makes the most sense. The error in that link appears to match that in the article too.
- aespinoza 14y agoJust look at the iframe source, you'll be able to see the link I posted.
- moron 14y agoI should hope so, because it would not exactly fill me with confidence if Apple were the ones exposing config info to the web. Classic rookie mistake.
- aespinoza 14y agoYes I agree. That is pretty messed up. Specially for a production web server. I think if this is a vendor, I sure hope they get called on it by Apple. If this is Apple, well, I sure hope customers make sure Apple learns to develop secure .Net apps.
- dexcs 14y agoOMFG!
- rubberband 14y agoI saw a Microsoft employee once. He had a Mac Book. Swear to God.
- jgeorge 14y agoI was a Microsoft employee once. I had a Macbook. Swear to God. Where did you see me? (Flamewar fire extinguisher disclaimer: I was the subject of an acquisition and the software I was working on had a requirement to run on OS X. Also, my team didn't work in any division even remotely related to Windows/Office/etc.)
