The answer is simple. Antitrust makes rich people scared - spending money on politics now saves your bacon later.
- bediger4000 2y agoI think this more mercantilist rather than fear of antitrust. We know that the Trump regime will not do much, if any, antitrust, but we also can clearly see that money going to trump can change how tariffs are applied.
