Would we even see this article if Harris won? All Biden had to do after Covid was make it easier for businesses to hire US employees and we would be in a much better place. Instead, he closed down major oil pipelines (which accelerated inflation) and imposed taxes and restrictions on companies (and continued to threaten to impose even more). Businesses plan months (and sometimes years in advance) and the end result was layoffs and cutting budgets. This was why most Americans voted him out. The tariffs won't last long. They are just threats by Trump to get major leaders to pay their fair share. All of them have already come to the negotiating table and I'm guessing things will be resolved before he even takes office or shortly after.
