I'm working on adding this now. For those of you interested, I'm creating a reverse index on the name portion of the domains:
ALTER TABLE domains ADD rev varchar(10) default null;
UPDATE domains SET rev = REVERSE(REPLACE(name, '.com', ''));
ALTER TABLE domains ADD INDEX `rev_idx` using btree (rev);
