I don’t see how that can be fair.
- nic547 2y agoAMD and Apple have no Foundry
- lnsru 2y agoAMD got rid of the foundries in the past. The other company is GlobalFoundries and looks like to be doing fine. Intel tried to do the same 15 years later, but didn’t succeed. It’s really hard to have both things right - semiconductor manufacturing process and prefect processor design.
