- oulu2006 2y agoI came here to say this --- I could never floss, until the dentist got me a Waterpik and then I was like wtf why didn't I know about this earlier, so so easy and i can just think of whatever while i do it.
- singleshot_ 2y agoI'm with you, but what's the deal with the tiny cover? Can you link to a picture of what you're talking about?
- turtleyacht 2y agoThere's a black seal in the container. I think it is meant to prevent debris from flying through the pik tube. But with an old model, it prevents effective pressure. So I have to use a second pik and dip a hand in to keep it lifted.
- singleshot_ 2y agoWhen you remove the tank if it's full, if this ring was held open, all the liquid would leak out. Is that the ring we're talking about? Gonna try this when I get back home. Possibly a good tip; appreciate it. (Keep them chompers clean, brother).
- turtleyacht 2y agoYes, I think that is the ring. Lifting the ring would leak water if the tank were separated and full. I keep the tank in and use a separate bowl to fill it with water. Then a fifth or sixth of Listerine to top it off. No lid, since I need to reach in there with the second pik and lift up the black thing at the bottom. Hope this helps!
