I didn't say that we know that they are reducing male fertility, we know that it's very possible. I could have said it probably does. But I'm not a scientist so

  We know it's very possible is a very wishywashy comment though. Best I can say is that there are theories, but we don't know if they are true or not yet. Some people think they are, some people disagree. That's why they are not facts.

    It means "we haven't ruled it out yet". And given the difficulty of conclusively demonstrating a negative, that's a very weak claim.
