  Of course, it'll give them inside track. This is crony capitalism. When Musk was busy spouting off conspiracies about Biden admin, SpaceX still won a lot of grants. That sort of independence is going to be dead.

  Half (if not more) of the leadership on andruils are from palantir. Schimpf was a senior director there and his wife was the head of infosec at palantir in the last decade It always looked to me like palantir was the software side and Andruil was the hardware side of the same basic business. These articles of the two companies “teaming up” always amused me because if you know the players from Palantir’s growth phase it always looked like the OGs from palantir jumped to a new startup for another cycle of unicorn funding when the ride was ending
