This has nothing to do with GPS, she's just saying GPS to gain sympathy. It the satellite communications.
The article is even dumb, who writes these things: "Small, rugged and lightweight, this satellite communicator enables two-way text messaging using GPS technology, even in areas with no cell coverage."
GPS is one way technology, how does GPS allow two way text messaging?
- runnr_az 2y agoIt was a Garmin InReach device... ... and there's no reason random visitors would assume that's illegal.
- RegnisGnaw 2y agoI know it was an InReach, I just find the article B.S. by saying the issue was the GPS not the Satellite communication. Or you can have two way text messaging via GPS.
