Show HN: Tired of decision fatigue? Let AI handle your everyday choices
Sometimes, I'm tired of making decisions from big to small, even though I can.
The simplest tool would be a Yes/No decision bot that generates random yes/no answers (there are a ton of them online). We know they aren't very useful, but they actually do give you a final decision.
On the other hand, modern AI tools are great with knowledge retrieval but often leave you with more information but still no clear answer.
Hence, I built a Solaris, a messaging-based AI assistant that helps users make yes/no decisions through guided conversations. Instead of giving direct answers, it asks thoughtful questions to help users reach their own conclusions, culminating in a final decision.
It is designed to be a thinking partner - it helps users explore their own decision-making process while maintaining full responsibility for their choices.

I'd love feedback from the HN community on this (somewhat socratic) approach and potential improvements!

- katahaha 2y agoThanks for the insight! Try it out and let me know whether you still feel that way after trying out the application! We believe the UI experience and decision flow matters a lot in this regard, and we will iterate based on user feedback!
