Boomers were young once. That's when they voted for the war on drugs at all costs. They may have made some poor decisions but they don't have a monopoly on them. There's no guarantee that the future is progressive.
- bregma 2y agoYoung people don't vote. Boomers were still young and just past the "turn on, tune in, and drop out" hippie summer of love when their elders passed the War on Drugs legislation. Now that they're the ones voting and sitting in legislative chambers those laws are being rolled back. One should regularly examine one's prejudices.
