I also have a G305 where the left click button wore out. I removed a switch from the Pi 400 desktop kit mouse I had laying around and replaced it with that. Upgraded the slider pads while I had everything apart. These actually made more of a difference than I anticipated. Virtually brand new, although amuses me that left and right click sound different now.
