Pat Gelsinger's initials are etched into every 386 processor ever made (2023)
- iancmceachern 2y agoI do this too. I etched my name inside an LVAD that went to the Smithsonian from Jarvik Heart, where I worked at the time. Most recently I etched the signatures of each employee at a startup I worked at where I designed a surgical robot on a plate, gold plated it. It's part of each machine that goes out the door, I even gave everyone one for Christmas as a memento.

- The-Old-Hacker 2y agoI did something similar back in 1986 when I was working for GST Software. I created the English dictionary used by the 1st Word Plus spellchecker and included the names of all the developers.
