I’m torn on how to feel about this trend. On one hand, I think telemedicine is a cash grab that’s lowering quality of care dramatically. I hope suits like this one end the business model. On the other hand, it would be convenient to have a virtual urgent care type of service, or be able to access great doctors while living somewhere rural, but that won’t exist if they send you to the ER for anything that isn’t 100% benign for fear of lawsuits.
