The linux kernel is dual-use.
- buckle8017 2y agoThis is why you can't hire anybody competent. Maybe try admitting what you're building and justify it as necessary instead. Insulting people's ability to reason is a certain way to repel anybody with a brain.
- snakeyjake 2y agoI used to build fantastic little things the likes of which no human being had ever seen before that have killed many, many, people including (if reports from that side of the company are right, and they are) thousands and thousands of Russians and their tanks. Now I design radar panel assemblies for weather satellites. They're both a good living.

- snakeyjake 2y agoI was an infantryman in the US Army from 1998-2008. I used the GI Bill and Army College Fund to pay for my bachelors. I deployed to "tHe KiLl ZoNe" twice with C Co 1/503rd infantry and A Co 1/23rd infantry.
- coliveira 2y agoI guess even if he knew he was making weapons, he wouldn't be able to say it... And that's another reason why these companies cannot find workers.
