We can look back to 2015 when major American political parties' re-imagining of peace in Ukraine; deep state people fall on either side of that. Bolton is a "hawk", unwilling to pressure Ukraine but peddling in lives; Epsteyn is a "dove", framing Ukraine surrender as an overture to peace.
