- syspec 2y agoMore likely, there are different groups of engineers working on these features. It's likely the people implementing the WhatsApp feature, are not the ones working on the LLM models.
- DrBenCarson 2y agoProbably more about how they’re choosing to use resources If they believe AGI is around the corner and they are competing with others to get there, seems silly to invest resources in standing up a phone line, etc.
- sswatson 2y agoNot if the data they'll collect in the process is going to be valuable for the training effort.

- Sean-Der 2y agoI worked on this. My background isn't AI so I can't contribute to that. My background is WebRTC/telephony so I could build this. Even if I was involved in 'AI stuff' I would have zero impact, but I can build this!
