These procedures are being inflicted upon children. It's very different to an adult with full capacity to consent.
Hopefully this lawsuit will be the beginning of the end for this harmful medical experimentation on vulnerable kids.
- jfengel 2y agoThis is not a harmful medical procedure when administered to people who need it, of whom there are millions. For them, it is literally a life saver.
- duicio 2y agoHalting a child's puberty isn't a life-saving procedure, more likely it will cause them permanent and life-long damage due to developmental deficits. There aren't millions of kids having this done to them, it's more like tens of thousands. But it's still too many, too much harm for no good reason.
