You know how for people whose eyes and brains generate depth perception for them in their real lives, the world looks 3D and you can infer an object's size and distance as you look around the world, but you don't get those same feelings of depth looking at a 2D image or video on a flat screen?
A spatial video lets you experience the same depth you see looking around at the world, not a flat image on a screen.
