You make a lot of qualifications to your original statement in this follow up! You'd be a lot more successful getting your point across if you wrote clearly to begin with, instead of starting with obviously untrue hyperbole. Another way to frame it is that "government showing up at your door" very frequently doesn't end up with billions dead.

When it shows up at your door, you should be afraid because of this historical fact. Are you denying governments have killed millions of people? > Another way to frame it is that "government showing up at your door" very frequently doesn't end up with billions dead. It will very frequently turn out to be very bad news for you and/or your family if the government shows up at your door, especially if unannounced, especially if they need to tell you they're here to help. A firefighter will never have to explain to you "I'm here to help"
