I’ve been wondering if a similar phenomenon will be observed with our mental muscles. Will future generations know how to write a coherent e-mail or essay? Will they know how to approach solving a complex problem without AI assistance? Will doodling in class be supplanted by Midjourney prompting? Why bother thinking too hard when the machine can do it for you? When we are all immersed in the substrate of AI, will there be a gym equivalent for the intellectual?
