- cyberax 2y agoNo, exercise mimetics are drugs that stimulate the same biochemical pathways as regular exercises.
- Mistletoe 2y agoSometimes I think that is what metformin and statins do, because weirdly enough both seem to blunt the exercise response. I’d love to take them but I already exercise.
- cyberax 2y ago"Exercise mimetics" are fine. You need to look at the professional publications. It's a very active area of research, so things change rapidly.
