Mine only does that if I accidentally hit the TV+ button on the remote. So I took the remote apart and disconnected that button from the board. Problem solved.

Mine only does that if I accidentally hit the TV+ button on the remote. So I took the remote apart and disconnected that button from the board. Problem solved. Otherwise it turns on quickly and it's just a dumb tv. Perfect.
