This is so weird. You just don't connect it to the internet. It's that simple. No need for "dumb TVs" to return. Smart TVs are just dumb TVs with extra stuff.

  The TV I bought 2 years ago and never connected it to the Internet. Not even for setup. Zero issues.

    Smart TVs using their own DNS, connecting to things like Amazon Sidewalk or any open WiFi point, hell maybe even their own eSIM.
