Apple started the self driving car project ‘Titan’ and then wrapped it up. Meanwhile Xiamo started with $50 cheap Android phones and are now selling actual cars with some autonomous driving, while working to pursue full automation. I think US industrial policy is weak. Most of our large 1T companies are doing stock buy backs or paying dividends. We are scared to make big bets on 10+ year horizon. We are doing much better than EU, but America’s large companies are stifling smaller companies. That’s not a good sign.
