Your writing style is excellent! So well captured. I didn't realize the stings could scar like that.
I got caught in a blue bottle swarm about 10 years ago off Mark's Park in Bondi, but the marks only lasted a week.
- MomsAVoxell 2y agoThanks, I always get a bit flowery when I remember my youth in Australia. Yeah, the bluebottles on the west coast have a bit more bite to them than the ones in Bondi, I think. It might also have something to do with me having been baked in the oven of the beach sands that day, as Dad fought to get me removed from the tangled sticky mess, which had covered most of my torso. It was a scorcher.
