- JTyQZSnP3cQGa8B 2y agoAre you hijacking the Conventional Commits convention? That's weird (https://github.com/conventional-commits/conventionalcommits.org https://github.com/conventional-commits/conventionalcommits.... for the record). You're claiming that ReactJS is using your thing but your project is only 2 months old. What are you trying to achieve there? Also your web site is broken without JS while the Conventional Commit web site is fine. That's even worse.
- yusufbozaci 2y agoFirst of all, thank you for your comments. I would like to point out that in the ‘Sources Used’ section at the bottom of the semanticcommit.com page, it clearly stated which sources we have used. We do not claim that we came up with this method. Please remember to analyze a topic in detail before attacking it. Have a good day.
- JTyQZSnP3cQGa8B 2y agoI'm not attacking anyone. It's a clone and I would like to know its purpose. Like "Why? Why mention ReactJS and other projects? What are you adding to the other conventions?" Also you're wrong when you say "Yes, commit messages should be in English" because a lot of companies do not have English commit messages yet use conventional commits. Last but not least because it’s ridiculous enough so far: why buy a whole domain name for this? Also 3 different kinds of analytics for what should be a static page on a blog? Do you need money or something?
- yusufbozaci 2y agoWhen you scroll to the bottom of the site and click on the "Resources Utilised" section, you will see the following message: "First of all, we would like to clarify that Semantic Commit is not a software method developed by us. We created this site to make learning easier and to provide more organized and useful tools." If you explore the project in detail, you will better understand the purpose behind it.
