Does anybody else have trouble with tailscale "site-to-site" subnet routers -- deployed on Linux firewalls -- messing up their routing? If so, what has worked

Does anybody else have trouble with tailscale "site-to-site" subnet routers -- deployed on Linux firewalls -- messing up their routing? If so, what has worked for you? (Edited to replace point-to-point with site-to-site.)
